Is the Word of GOD (the Bible) Infallible
Meaning of Infallible
The word infallible means incapable of error or failure.
It describes something completely dependable, certain to succeed, and absolutely reliable. In a biblical sense, it refers to the unchanging truth and authority of God’s Word.
Although the term “infallible” itself does not appear in Scripture, the Bible clearly reveals the concept through its teachings. Passages affirm that God cannot lie and that His promises never fail. Therefore, when we speak of the “infallible Word of God,” we refer to the Bible’s complete trustworthiness and divine inspiration. It stands as the final standard of truth, showing believers how to understand and interpret all things according to God’s will.
1Co 2:12 But we received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit, the one from God, that we should know the things being granted to us by God.
1Co 2:13 Which also we speak not in words instructed by human wisdom, but by words instructed of holy spirit; spiritual things being interpreted in spiritual ways.
Interpreting Scripture with Scripture
The Bible teaches that Scripture must always be interpreted by Scripture. God’s Word is complete, perfect, and sufficient. Believers are not to rely on human traditions, commentaries, or man-made documents to define divine truth. Every teaching must be tested and confirmed by the Word of God alone. This principle protects against false interpretation and ensures that understanding comes directly from the Holy Spirit through the inspired writings. The Bible interprets itself, revealing God’s truth without the need for outside authority.
The Perfection of God’s Word
God’s Unchanging Nature
God never changes His mind or alters His Word. The Scriptures remain the same yesterday, today, and forever because they come from an unchanging God. To expect God to revise His promises would make Him unreliable, which is impossible. His Word is consistent and eternal, providing the foundation of our faith and the assurance of salvation. If God were capable of change, Israel’s hope would collapse into uncertainty. But His steadfast nature guarantees that every promise stands secure through all generations.
Num 23:19 God is not as a man to waver, nor as a son of man to be threatened. in speaking, shall he not do? Shall he speak, and not adhere to?
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD your God; I change not.
Mal 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
GOD Is Trustworthy and Dependable
The Word of God stands as the unshakable foundation of truth, proving that HE is completely trustworthy and dependable. His laws, promises, and commandments are perfect and everlasting.
Psa 19:7 declares, “The law of the LORD is unblemished, turning souls. The witness of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the infants.” God’s Word cannot fail or fade with time. As Luk 16:17 reminds us, But easier it is for the heaven and the earth to pass away, than for one dot to fall of the law.
Likewise, Mat 5:18 confirms that “one iota or one dot in no way should pass from the law, until whenever all comes to pass.
Through Isa 55:11, God assures us that His Word “shall not return to me empty,” but will accomplish all that He intends.
His dependability is eternal, and His Word never fails.
How Can the Bible Be Infallible If Man Has Changed It?
GOD makes it clear that HE expect men to mishandle, mistranslate, and distort portions of Scripture, the infallibility of God’s Word rests not in human effort but in its divine origin. But of course, when we refer to the Bible, we mean the original Bible that was penned by GOD’s prophets.
Rev 22:18 I bear witness to every one hearing the words of the prophecy of this scroll; if anyone should add upon these, God will place upon him the calamities being written in this scroll.
Rev 22:19 And if anyone should remove from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, may God remove his part from the tree of life, and from the holy city of the things having been written in this scroll.
Replacement Doctrine
Over many centuries, men have introduced errors into the Bible as tools of deception. This began during the shaping of the Christian religion. Early church forefathers altered and misused the sacred writings GOD originally gave HIS people Israel. In the New Testament, parts of the Israelites’ letters were changed, and the originals were destroyed. This paved the way for the false “replacement doctrine.”
This teaching claimed that after Christ’s resurrection, anyone who believed in Him became the new Israel.
Later, the Masoretes tampered with the Hebrew texts, adding and removing passages and assuming our identity. Even the King James translators made selective changes. Yet through it all, the truth of God’s Word still stands, just as the Gospels warned.
Psa_83:4 They said, Come, for we should utterly destroy them from out of the nations; for in no way should the name of Israel be remembered any longer.
Because now we are known as black people, Africans, negroes, Jamaicans Haitians, African American, etc., but never Israel! But that doesn’t change GOD’s salvation plan.
The Biblical Israel vs. the Modern State of Israel
It’s important to understand the difference between the people of Israel mentioned in the Bible and the modern state of Israel in the Middle East today. In Scripture, every reference to Israel describes a people, not a land. The name comes from their forefather Jacob, whom GOD renamed Israel. There is no place in the Bible ever called “Israel” as a geographic nation. This raises a vital question—if biblical Israel refers to a people, why does a modern state by that name exist today? Even those living there identify as Jewish or Israelis, not Israelites. This highlights a clear distinction between the biblical identity and the modern political state.
The Jewish people are Esau
This is a long and complicated history which I won’t go into right now. They originated from the people of Esau who have long been a nemesis to Israel. Under the rule of the Greek and Romans they took up residence in Judea. They actually ruled over the Israelites there. This harkened back to a prophecy Isaac his father made. hundreds of years earlier:
Gen 27:40 And by your sword shall you live, and shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass when you shall have the dominion, that you shall break his yoke from off your neck.
Around AD 70, the Romans expelled the people of Israel from Judea and the surrounding regions. This completed the scattering of Israel as foretold by GOD. Many of them fled south into Africa through Egypt, fulfilling prophecy. Meanwhile, Esau’s descendants—later known as the Jews—migrated into Europe, intermarrying with Slavic women and becoming White. Uniquely, their lineage was often traced through the female line, unlike most other nations.
Throughout history, these people faced anti-Semitic persecution from European neighbors. This prompted efforts to resettle them elsewhere—including Uganda. Eventually, they returned to Palestine, where they forcibly displaced local inhabitants and established the modern State of Israel—a state quickly recognized by the United States.
Today, many Hebrew Israelites and Black Jews mistakenly teach that the term Jew comes from Judah, one of Israel’s tribes. In truth, the word Jew comes from Judea, a Roman province created in 6 CE, named after the area once inhabited by the tribe of Judah. This was a geographical name, not a tribal one. The purpose was to make people believe that modern Jews descended from Judah, when in fact, they are Edomites—having no rightful claim to the biblical land of Israel.
GOD’s Covenant People: Israel Alone salvation
According to Scripture, there is only one people on earth with whom GOD made a covenant and promised salvation — Israel. This truth is clearly affirmed throughout the Bible, which itself is a covenant document.
In Genesis 15, GOD established a covenant with Abraham and his seed. HE sealed it through a sacred ritual. While Abraham was in a deep trance, GOD alone passed between the divided pieces of sacrifice. This symbolizing that He alone bears the responsibility for the covenant’s fulfillment. Thehe promise included the land of Canaan, but its meaning goes far beyond physical territory — pointing to spiritual restoration and eternal salvation.
This divine covenant continued through Isaac, Abraham’s son, and Jacob, his grandson. It represents a divine contract ensuring Israel’s rescue and redemption until the end of the ages, as confirmed by many biblical passages.
Deu 7:9 And you shall know that the LORD your God — this one is God, the trustworthy God, the one guarding the covenant and mercy to the ones loving him, and to the ones guarding his commandments into a thousand generations;
Deu 7:12 And it will be when ever you should hear these ordinances, and should have guarded and should have done them, that the LORD your God will protect the covenant with you, and the mercy which he swore by an oath to your fathers.
Therefore, this covenant of mercy and salvation is not extended to no other race other than Israel.
CHRIST’s Mission: Salvation for the Lost Sheep of Israel
When CHRIST came over 2,000 years ago, He proclaimed the Good News—the message of salvation. Through His own words and actions, HE demonstrated that salvation was created for Israel alone. In His command to the disciples, Matthew 10:6 records, But you go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel!
Later, CHRIST reaffirmed this mission, saying in Matthew 15:24, “I was not sent except unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” These words leave no doubt about whom His earthly ministry was directed to.
After JESUS ascended, the Apostle Peter confirmed this divine purpose in Acts 5:31, declaring, “This one—God, chief and deliverer, exalted by his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and release of sins.”Together, these verses reveal a consistent truth: the covenant of salvation and repentance was offered specifically to the house of Israel, in fulfillment of GOD’s promises through the prophets.
If Israel only salvation, then what about the rest of mankind
You may ask what about the rest of humanity if GOD only provide salvation for Israel only. This was answered in the garden of Eden thousands of years earlier. Speaking of Adam, GOD said:
Gen_2:17 but from the tree of the knowing good and evil, you shall not eat from it; but in whatever day you should eat from it, to death you shall die.
We all know what happened. Adam disobeyed. This term is not the common death of man. This is the second death described elsewhere in which is the death of soul for eternity. This take care of the Gentiles and most of Israel who does not keep the covenant.
Rom 5:12 On account of this as if through one man the sin entered into the world, and through the sin — death; and thus to all men death went through, because by which reason all sinned.
This makes it pretty dire for mankind and unsaved Israel. GOD accounted all under sin because of Adam. The wages of sin is death.
Israel is not a monolith-there are the few saved and the majority unsaved
Lots of Hebrew Israelites teaches that one day CHRIST will return “Black people” to the place called Israel in the Middle east. Even if any of that is true the majority wouldn’t qualify to go. Because it is written:
Rom 9:27 and Isaiah cries out over Israel, saying, Though the number of the sons of Israel should be as the sand of the sea, the vestige shall be preserved,
The Strong’s G2640 vestige is From G2641; a remainder, that is, (by implication) a few: – remnant.
Speaking of Israel The LORD JESUS related two parables in the book of Matthew. Mat 22:1 and Mat 22:14. At the end of each HE exclaimed the following phrase. For many are called, but few are chosen.
The LORD reenforce that reality in Isa 1:9 “And unless the LORD of Hosts left us a seed, we would have become as Sodom, and likened as Gomorrah”
There are plenty of admonition for the unsaved of Israel but the one below that covers the covenant is poignant
Deu 7:9 And you shall know that the LORD your God — this one is God, the trustworthy God, the one guarding the covenant and mercy to the ones loving him, and to the ones guarding his commandments into a thousand generations;
Deu 7:10 and repaying to the ones detesting his face, to utterly destroy them. And he shall not be slow to the ones detesting; by person he shall render what is due to them
A Brief History of Israel up to the Roman Expulsion in 70 AD
The history of Israel is vast—far too great to recount in full here. It spans as much as all the pages of the Bible itself. Yet Stephen the Apostle offered a concise summary in Acts chapter 7. Recounting Israel’s journey from the call of Abraham, through the Exodus and the life of Moses. This testimony came after CHRIST had ascended to Heaven. Earlier CHRIST warned to Israel to flee Judea from the coming wrath of the Roman army in 70 AD.
The physical and genetic beginnings of Israel trace back to Jacob, whose divine transformation marked the birth of the nation. As written in Genesis 32:28, “And he said to him, your name shall not any longer be called Jacob, but Israel will be your name; for you grew in strength against God, and against mighty men.”
GOD reconfirms HIS covenant with Jacob
Later, GOD reaffirmed His covenant promise in Genesis 35:12: And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, I give it to you. And to your seed after you I shall give this land. This covenant established Israel’s divine inheritance.
GOD further declared their unique purpose in Deuteronomy 7:6: For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. And the LORD your God preferred you to be to Him a prized people from all the nations, as many as are upon the face of the earth.
And again, the LORD’s faithfulness to His oath is shown in Deuteronomy 7:8: But because the LORD loved you, and to observe the oath which he swore to your fathers, the LORD led you by a fortified hand and with a high arm; and he ransomed you from out of a house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
From Jacob’s transformation to the Roman expulsion of 70 AD, Israel’s story is one of divine selection, covenant promise, and enduring fulfillment of GOD’s Word.
Israel Scattered Among the Nations
One of the key principles in GOD’s dealings with Israel is the consequence of disobedience and unbelief. The people turned from the covenant that GOD made with them. He warned that they would be removed from the land and scattered among the nations. This judgment was not sudden—it was foretold in Scripture long before it came to pass.
In Leviticus 26:33, GOD declared: And I will disseminate you into the nations; and the sword coming upon you will completely consume you; and your land will be desolate, and your cities will be desolate places. This prophecy reveals both divine justice and mercy—discipline meant to bring Israel to repentance.
The same truth is echoed in Deuteronomy 28:64, where it says: And the LORD your God will disperse you into all the nations, from the tip of the earth, unto the other tip of the earth. And you shall slave there to other gods of wood and stone, which you have no knowledge of, nor your fathers.
as well as Jeremiah15:14: I will reduce you to slavery round about your enemies, in the land which you knew not. For a fire has been kindled because of my rage; it shall be kindled against you.
Through these verses, the Bible shows how Israel’s scattering among the nations was both a fulfillment of prophecy and a testimony to GOD’s unchanging covenant. Even in dispersion, His purpose for Israel remained intact. —discipline leading to eventual restoration.
The Scattering of Israel: From Assyria to Rome
As stated earlier, GOD’s Word cannot go unfulfilled. The scattering of Israel began with the Assyrian invasion of the Northern Kingdom around 709 BCE. Then the Assyrians captured Samaria, Israel’s capital. This brought to an end the entire northern territory under their control.
Some false Hebrew Israelite teachings claim that all Israel was taken into exile by the Assyrians and scattered across the world—particularly to Iran and other regions. This interpretation, often based on the King James Bible, is inaccurate. I addressed and refuted this claim in my article, The Myth of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel.
Meanwhile, the Southern Kingdom of Judah remained for about two more centuries before being invaded by Babylon in 587 BCE. Many were taken captive to Babylon, while others escaped into Africa through Egypt, fulfilling prophetic warnings. This preservation was vital, since CHRIST’s lineage was to come through Judah.
After seventy years, the captives returned to Judah, though the nation later fell under the rule of Esau’s descendants, who served as proxies for the Greeks and Romans. Before CHRIST went to the Cross, He foretold the final scattering of Israel among the nations, as recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. This prophecy reached its completion when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, forcing Israel to flee once more into Africa through Egypt.
Thus, from Assyria to Babylon to Rome, every stage of Israel’s history fulfilled GOD’s Word, proving His covenant stands sure across the ages.
Identifying Israel Among the Gentile Nations
In our present day, the question arises—how do we distinguish the true people of Israel from the Gentile nations? Some point to the biblical curses as evidence identifying GOD’s chosen people. One striking prophecy appears in Deuteronomy 28:68, which declares:
And the LORD will return you unto Egypt in boats, and in the way which I said, You shall not proceed again to behold it. And you shall be sold there to your enemies for manservants and maidservants, and none shall be acquiring you.
This verse unmistakably reflects the experience of Israel through the trans-Atlantic slave trade. the forced transport of over 12.5 million Africans to the Americas between the 16th and 19th centuries. where they were sold into harsh plantation slavery.
The historical narrative, however, has been distorted. GOD did not exile multiple peoples—only Israel. Scripture describes Israel as a distinct race, part of the negroid families who lived among other dark-skinned nations of the ancient Middle East. These were the true descendants of Jacob, not merely Africans in general.
Therefore, while the curse reveals their condition, it is not the ultimate marker of identity. Modern science and historical evidence also align with the biblical record, confirming that the people who endured this scattering fit the description of Israel in prophecy.
The Bantu Niger-Congo speakers of Africa
The Bantu are a vast group of Niger–Congo language speakers spread across much of sub-Saharan Africa. The term “Bantu” refers to a family of more than 500 related languages, including Swahili, Zulu, Kikuyu, and many others. Their shared vocabulary and sentence structure reveal a common linguistic and ancestral origin.
Language itself provides strong evidence of their connection. While numerous black or Negroid tribes live across Africa, most do not speak Bantu languages. Instead, they use tongues that are distinct from the Niger–Congo language group, showing clear cultural and historical separation.
This unity of language among Bantu-speaking peoples points to a shared heritage that sets them apart from other African tribes—an origin story preserved through speech, migration, and tradition.
Distribution of the E1B1A-V38 Haplogroup
The E-V38 haplogroup, also known as E1B1A-V38, is a branch of human Y-chromosome DNA found primarily among populations in sub-Saharan Africa. It divides into two main subclades: E-M329 and E-M2.
E-M329 is mostly concentrated in East Africa, while E-M2 is the predominant lineage across West, Central, and Southern Africa, as well as the African Great Lakes region. Smaller but notable frequencies of E-M2 also appear in parts of North Africa, West Asia, and Southern Europe, reflecting ancient migrations and cultural exchanges.
What many scientific reports fail to highlight is the strong presence of the E1B1A haplogroup in the Americas—a result of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Populations in Jamaica, Haiti, and Barbados show frequencies reaching up to 90%, while in the United States, earlier studies recorded about 68% among men of African descent. Due to modern interracial mixing, this percentage has since declined.
The widespread distribution of E1B1A-V38 across Africa and the Americas provides compelling genetic evidence of a shared ancestral heritage connecting African and diasporic populations to their ancient Near Eastern roots.
